1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Enough milk for spreading consistency
Sprinkle top of biscuits with additional Amazin’ Raisins, if desired.
Mix together dry ingredients in a large mixture bowl. Cut in shortening. Make a well, add milk and raisins. Stir until dough follows around bowl. Scoop up the dough and kneed gently, no more than a couple of minutes.
Roll to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut dough with biscuit cutter, (no twisting). Bake on ungreased baking sheet at 500 degrees 12 to 15 minutes.
